About The Role
Brighton Health Plan Solutions (BHPS) is seeking a Documentation Specialist, responsible for developing and maintaining training materials, and collaborating with other documentation specialists, and trainers on process workflows.  We are looking for a motivated candidate to maintain approved content for the Training, Learning & Development department, and their partners.  The Documentation Specialist is a self-starter who can manage multiple documents at once, excels in delivering exemplary materials, and possesses experience in creating comprehensive workflow and process documents to support the training, learning, and development team.
This is a remote role. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains workflow and process documents for training and operational departments.
  • Update, maintain, and inventory documentation of policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with business line management, subject matter experts, and other learning staff to understand departmental processes and business tools in use.
  • Assist to develop and maintain content loaded to the LMS and document repository where needed.
  • Comply with all guidelines established by regulatory agencies, where applicable and defined department policies including other duties assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3 years of content development experience.
  • Documentation design in healthcare, TPA, or health insurance setting preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.  Must be detail-oriented and produce high-quality work.
  • Professional written skills.
  • Experience with creating training content, end-user documentation, and process documents.
  • Flexibility in an environment with competing priorities and a fast-paced culture.
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time and meet targeted completion dates.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Must be able to manage tasks effectively.
